New Years Resolutions

Hi all,

Are you one to set New Years Resolutions? Personally I like to set them, but make sure I don't write them down, that way, when the end of the year comes, when I have done none of them, I don't feel so bad cause I have forgotten them :), kind of silly I know. This year, however I am making a change, time to take some responsibility for them and jot them down, so here are my trading resolutions:

  • To expand this blog, and move to a .com address.
  • To cement in my mind what kind of trader I am, and how I trade.
  • To have them written in a prominent place so I don't forget them.
  • To have Stormy and friends completed and released to the world.
  • To try to put together a beginners trading package for all new comers to the site.
  • To source enough funds to give this FX trading a real serious go.
  • To continue providing as much free resources as I can for other traders.
  • To have fun!

  • Nothing ground breaking there I know, but they will do for now and should all be realistic. The year in review has been an interesting one, from moving from virtual to live trading, developing a trading strategy learning from other traders, and starting this blog. There are readers from 33 different countries which is heart warming and shows how the internet has shrunk the globe.

The year coming up should be an exciting one for a lot of you, most likely being the first full year of trading (as shown from the recent poll) and could be the start of a whole new career if things go your way. I hope I can develop this site as our knowledge and trading skills develop, with some ideas on expansion being:
    • Exclusive (free) subscription content
    • Video tutorials
    • Interviews with different people in the trading world
    • Development of trading systems for different levels of expertise
    • Online trading seminars
    • World domination ..... oh .... umm ... *insert evil laugh here*
So there are some thoughts, love to hear yours!

    Happy trading!

    Hey Adam...

Those seem more like goals, not resolutions. Which would imply that you are perfect exactly the way you are, and motivated. Good luck. And, in January of next year, I'll make sure to call you on these.

1000% possible, well look anything is possible, in dollar terms that is taking a $1,000 to $10,000 .. which to me seems possible in a year, especially with compounding. I have yet to set my target per week, ill be sure to let you all know.
