Authors: A Good Question
Hi all,
Another quick one thanks to a reader who asked in regard to articles for the new site and what it was we were looking for, below is the question, and my answer for all those wondering the same thing:
Q: How much writing will you expect from each writer? How long or short should they be? Are you aiming to attract readers, webpage hits, or divulge important information that others might find boring to read? ( e.g. money management, psychology... etc.)
A: The scope of what can be written about is really open, some ideas might be things like:
Trading book reviews
Trading website reviews
Theory articles
Trading system ideas
Stories of trading experiences
Learning experiences
Really anything, the more diversity the better in my opinion. The aim of the articles is of course to attract and entertain readers, i'm not too worried about advertising, hit counts or the like, I figure create entertaining content and the rest handles itself.
I don't expect textbook perfect articles as seen elsewhere, and in fact would rather not see them, but rather just whatever flows from the brain as you are writing, controversal, funny, strange ... it is all good :)
What I did not include in my reply was about the length of articles, as you can see from what I write here, the length varies and really doesn't matter, if it get's the point across then there is no need to waffle on really is there :) Send an email to akuma_me@yahoo.com if you are interested.
Happy trading!
