Weekend Ramble

Hi all!

How are we? I hope your week was a profitable one, if so, thumbs up to you, if not, ah well there is always next week. Thinking this weekend about what to update the site with, there were so many bits of things that I thought I would just ramble on a bit about a whole bunch of random things if you all don't mind :)

Advertising Fund
Well I have held off putting any advertising on my site as I didn't want it to be cluttered, but as you can see above, I have now encorperated Adsense into my website which isn't too obtrusive, ignore it if you wish, click on it if it interests you (and help support this site). If you want to see your advertisement there instead (see the stats details below for site details), simply click on the "Advertise on this site" at the bottom of the advertisement and follow the instructions. Throw me an email if you want more in depth details.

If you don't want to go through adsense for your advertising, then contact me directly at akuma_me@yahoo.com and we can work things out. All advertising revenue will be put into a seperate trading account that I will use to generate funds for a proposed forex for beginners book (see below).

Trading Signals
As you might be aware, I have been calling my trades live since November last year, at present the balance is around +1243 if you include this weeks tiny +6 result, so overall things have been going ok. I think however I have come to a point where I need to do things a little different, the aim of providing my trades was to firstly, put pressure on myself to ensure I thought through the trades correctly, and secondly to help those with less experience than myself to understand why I took trades and to think about things themselves.

The way things are currently, I don't think this is quite working, as I tend to place a trade quickly and don't have time to explain the trade as many are asking for, so, instead I will take more of an analytical approach, and rather than announce trades as they happen, I will send my thoughts as they occur leading up to trades, things I am watching, that way, those that are asking for reasons for my trades can understand the thought process, as illogical as it might be at times ;) An example this week were things like:

"The USDJPY now approaches an interesting resistance areas, with round number resistance of 116 that has previously held partnered with the 200EMA that is widely followed by some. Look for signs of weakness on mid term charts and if appropriate go short with a stop loss above 116.30."

or

"Hi all, another trading day has begun, with the USD strengthening slightly overnight on some positive USD data, with only the loony (CAD) showing any strength against USD.

Early asia sees the some Japanese CPI figures which should effect the USDJPY pair, I see the dollar winning that battle though and expect the risr to continue in the mid term now that 116.00 and 116.35 have been taken."

E-Books
I have always said the best investment you can make is to invest in yourself, and this certainly applies for forex trading. I have close to 90 e-books that I have read, and so I have decided to host some of these for anyone who wishes to read them. You can access these books at:

http://www.savefile.com/projects/133495

I will not be posting all 90 ;) .. but Ill put the odd one up as I sort through the good from the bad. Enjoy, and please if there are any there that shouldn't be please let me know and I'll remove it immediately.

Who Are Your Fellow Readers?
Yesterday I needed to collate my site statistics for a business proposition, so I thought I might share some of these stats on readers of this blog so you know just who is sitting there next to you. Currently there are on average of 300-500 unique readers a day from 33 different countries, the site is averaging around 1200 page loads a day, so there are a lot of you out there, and that really is appreciated.

What's Coming Up

Well the time is coming close where I will need to move Akumulate Pips to its own dedicated .com address, as the plans I have means it would be easier if I have my own server to play with. More news on that later.

The other thing coming up may be a forex beginners book, hence why I had to gather some stats on readership, things are in their very early stages, but I have started a poll to the right on the topic so please place your vote, all votes are anonymous so please be honest :)

Lastly, if I ever get my act together, I will be writing an article shortly for Darryl Guppy's newsletter. He is of course the author of some fantastic books and the creator of the Guppy Multiple Moving Averages that has proved to be a hit with so many. You can see his site here.

So that's about it, the brain is clear ready for reviewing the markets tomorrow, which of course will be the source of the Weekend Wonder. Have a great weekend all, rest up, and be ready for another eventful week.

Happy trading!

P.S. Last thing, I just found out my son will be on TV Monday morning! ..very exciting, for those in Australia and in front of a TV between 8:30-9:00am, switch to the today show in channel 9 and watch for the photos on the fridge segment. The photo I think they will show is at the top of this article.
