Hi all,

Well today, is officially my last day of virtual trading! That's right, im going live!! Very exciting indeed. My original long term plan for trading was to trade virtual for 6 months, before opening a mini account with a broker (around $300 - $500 US) to trade for another 6 months with, and then move to a full live account. Marketiva however, has given me the opportunity to add another step before the mini account, so I will be trading a mini mini account with Marketiva live in the coming days. The trick will be to see if mentally I keep to my strategy and pull the trigger when I see a setup.

What this means for my updates I am not sure, I suspect I will continue to update the pip count, but have yet to decide what else to do. I plan to broaden the horizons of Akumulate Pips in the upcoming weeks, and it is becoming clear from the poll that there is a call for Live trade calls, so I will see what I can do in that department.

Ok here are my results, it was a funny day, with lots of trades closed for very small profits. The main reason is, I tend to close trades if things start changing from what I am expecting, sometimes this get's me out of some very good trades, other times it saves my bacon. This was one of those days. I figure, if I can read an entry, I should apply those same skills to read an exit rather than rely on pure figures. You can see it still turned out to be a good day in terms of pips, despite it being more hard work than usual.

Finally, I have included a picture of Lachlan, my newborn son, as requested by some in the chat room today, hope you like it. Ok I will back next week after moving to a live account, best of luck to you all.

Happy trading!

Today's result: +73 pips | Overall: +680 pips

Hi Adam,
Congrats and the wonderful little boy! Your trading results look great as well and it has been enjoyable to watch your results. I hope you will be posting some more soon as you haven't in 8 days!
Also, it would be great to see on Goldentalk a little more, it seems like I haven't seen you post in forever!
